Tucson, AZ— 3/15/18 Alliance Flooring named Tom and Adam Arnquist, Arnquist CarpetsPlus COLORTILE of Alexandria, MN, Retailer of the Year during the group’s annual convention awards banquet here on February 27. This award is presented to members who exemplify leadership in rebate volume earnings, support of merchandising launches, Convention & Summit Attendance, networking with fellow members, store branding and use of the Web Pro website program.
Tom Arnquist commented on winning the award, “It was an unforgettable night! I am very proud of what we have accomplished. I’ve watched others win this award, and I knew if I wanted that award, I had to do what they did to get to where they are. Everything we do and the events that we attend to improve our business is hard work. It is a great feeling to know hard work pays off.

He continued, “Winning our award was very humbling. Humility isn’t thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. When anyone gets this award, I feel humbled. There are two things that make my life balanced; humility and gratitude. I’m very proud of my son and our team. My secret to success is my son selling our team on the idea of entrepreneurship. An idea that means being able to take action and having the courage to commit and persevere through all of the challenges and failures while using past experiences and intelligence to make smarter decisions for the future of our business. My team all works very hard every day and it shows.”
